Research needs to be conducted in a way that is informative for policies and practices. Hence, answers to questions of causal relationship are often required. This talk discusses application of causal inference thinking to planning and conducting dental research to inform policy and practice in fields such as smoking and periodontitis.
Prof Loc Do is the Director of Research and Professor in Dental Public Health, School of Dentistry, University of Queensland.
