Biomaterials beyond boundaries: Integrating material science & technology - Dr Sandleen Feroz
Bio
Dr Sandleen Feroz is a lecturer in restorative dentistry at the University of Queensland. She is an interdisciplinary researcher, and her expertise lies in translational research in cariology, biomaterials and regenerative medicine. Her background in clinical dentistry also persuaded her to work in close collaboration with materials scientists, clinicians and industry partners to promote industry linkages for biomaterial development and commercialization. She worked on several research projects related to improved formulations of oral care products for better health outcomes. She is a passionate medical educator involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in New Zealand, Australia and overseas.

The School of Dentistry Seminar Series is an opportunity to highlight outstanding research both within the School and from national and international guest speakers.
All are welcome to attend, including academic and professional staff, visitors, students, industry partners, dental industry professionals and the general public. Seminars are held at various times at the Oral Health Centre, Herston, and online.
In addition to our general School series, additional seminars will be presented by our various research groups.
