Researcher biography

Dr. Christine Peters is Senior Lecturer in Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Dr. Peters received her degree in dentistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1992 and held a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry from 1992 till 1996. From 1997 till 2004, Dr. Peters worked as Assistant Professor in the Division of Endodontics at University of Zurich Dental School, where she completed her postgraduate endodontic training in 2001. During that time, she spent two years at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco from 2001 till 2003 and from 2004. In 2006, Christine became Associate Professor at the University of the Pacific Dental School, and subsequently in 2012 Professor of Endodontology. In 2020, Christine moved to Brisbane, Australia, and accepted a position as Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry.

Christine Peters has published in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and lectured both nationally and internationally.

She serves on the review panel of several endodontic journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. Christine is a member of OKU, past president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and secretary and board member of the Australian Society of Endodontics, Queensland Branch.
