Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The School of Dentistry is committed to the continuing professional development of dental professionals and provides a range of online and in-person opportunities throughout the year. High quality CPD is required for Dentists, Dental Prosthetists, Dental Therapists, Hygienists and Oral health therapists to maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and expertise. The School offers courses across all disciplines of Dentistry by clinical and academic experts in the field. Participants will receive a certificate evidencing CPD hours for completion of the course.

Expression of interest: UQ Implant Training Program

Commences March 2027

The UQ Implant Training Program (ITP Fundamentals) is a comprehensive, 10 month training program designed to equip dental practitioners with the knowledge, clinical skills and confidemnce to successfully plan, place and restore dental implants. Delivered by leading clinicians and academics from the UQ School of Dentistry, the program combines evidence-based theory, hands-on preclinical training, and supervised clinical experience.
